What started with an afternoon of looking at my 70's era Bloomingdale's couch, ended with an apprenticeship with an established San Francisco upholsterer. This led to working with high end design firms sewing custom pillows, slipcovers, and furniture upholstery. On site work included recovering all of the furniture in the lobby of the Vintage Inn at the Villagio in Yountville, California. A wine country get away in Napa Valley just a few steps from the famous French Laundry restaurant. Other sewing work includes recovering and fabricating custom motorcycle seats for vintage bikes.
